Tour Description

Begin the tour with a complimentary Sydney City Hotel pickup (7.30am-8.15am) or meet up at Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel, 30 Pitt Street at 8 am at Circular Quay.

After departing Sydney, you will head west and drive up to the upper parts of the Blue Mountains, Katoomba, reaching Echo Point, viewing platform overlooking wilderness and iconic rock formation Three Sisters. Marvel at the views and scenery before crowds arrive.

NEXT, take a scenic guided walk, visit Katoomba Falls or Leura Cascades, to see waterfalls and explore lookouts. Complimentary tea and coffee provided as well as boomerang to try.

OR for those who take advantage of the optional entry to SCENIC WORLD, you can enjoy unlimited entry to Skyway-Walkway-Railway-Cableway attractions (as the mornings are less busy, you will have pleasant time to enjoy your attractions ). The Skyway is suspended 270 meters above the forest allowing you to see Katoomba Falls. The Cableway is the Southern Hemispheres steepest and largest aerial cableway, taking you to the Jamieson Valley and rainforest walkway. Scenic Railway is the world’s steepest passenger railway taking passengers from the rainforest to the Scenic World Headquarters (entry to Scenic World is an optional extra, payable on the day).

OR if you are interested in Aboriginal culture, you can opt to visit Waradah Aboriginal Centre, located near Three Sisters. See performance, gallery, art, plus visit souvenir shops. (Payable on the day)

When leaving Katoomba, we will pass famous Narrow Neck and Cahills lookout overlooking Megalong Valley.

By lunchtime, we reach garden village Leura known for fine coffee shops, galleries, Candy Store - whilst in Leura, you will have free time to purchase lunch and visit the Mall, an opportunity for shopping or to observe architecture from the beginning of 20th century.
The next stop is Lincoln Rock / Wentworth Falls area - top photography spot. Marvel at the view of Jamison Valley.

We head back to Sydney. You will visit Featherdale Wildlife Park - home to 1700 animals - where you have a close encounter with Aussie wildlife - feed the kangaroos, take a selfie with koalas, see wombats, dingoes, and more.

Throughout the day, you will learn about history, geology, fauna and flora of the area. We also offer complimentary tea and coffee and tasting of bush food prepared by Aboriginal Co-op.
Return to Sydney at approximately 6.15pm. Your choice of hotel drop-off or RiverCat cruise back to Sydney Harbour ( no extra costs)
